It is where the grains that were used as a loan to the farmers of the town and for the manufacture of bread in times of need were stored.
6th Palace House
Monumental house from the end of the s. XVII located in front of the main facade of the Church of San Juan. Its construction shows clear Baroque roots
7th Factory House
Located in the Plaza del Cardenal Spínola and built in the middle of the s. XVIII. It was used to store grains from the temple of San Juan, repair workshops, as well as shelter for the Holy Thursday Processional Monstrance. This building was restored during the 90s. XX and is currently the Public Library and the Municipal Historical Archive and the Protocols
8th House of the Montiel or Ave Maria
It belonged to the Montiel family until in 1917 it was bought by Lorenzo CoullautValera. The name "Casa del Ave María" is due to the fact that it housed the Franciscan convent shortly after its foundation. It is one of the most beautiful examples of civil architecture of the s. XVIII

It is one of the most significant urban spaces in Marchena. It was the meeting point where the main activities of the town took place, as well as containing the two most important centers of power within its perimeter: the Council or municipal political power, and the Palace or ducal power.

This road is called like this because it was the place where the Dominican convent of San Pedro Mártir was located.
