The basis of its economy<\/strong> is agriculture, since it is a flat area with fertile land irrigated by the Corbones River and traditionally dedicated to the cultivation of olive groves<\/strong> (olive oil and table olives) and cereals<\/strong> (wheat and barley).<\/p>\n

With a population of around 20,000 inhabitants<\/strong> and an area of 377 square kilometers,<\/strong> it is a very well connected area. From Seville we can access Marchena through the A-92 or through the Seville-M\u00e1laga-Granada-Almer\u00eda railway line<\/strong>.
